Scoop/Stack Basin
The SCOOP/STACK Basin, located in Oklahoma, USA, is one of the most prolific oil and natural gas producing regions in the country. SCOOP stands for “South Central Oklahoma Oil Province,” while STACK stands for “Sooner Trend Anadarko Canadian and Kingfisher.”
Powder River Basin
The Powder River Basin is a major geological region located in the western United States, primarily spanning northeastern Wyoming and southeastern Montana. It’s one of the most significant coal-producing regions in the country and has also garnered attention for its potential in oil and natural gas extraction.
Haynesville Shale
The Haynesville Shale is a significant geological formation located primarily in northwest Louisiana, with extensions into East Texas and Southwest Arkansas. It is one of the largest natural gas fields in the United States, known for its vast reserves of shale gas.

It is one of the oldest and most prolific sedimentary basins in North America, containing a diverse range of natural resources, including coal, natural gas, oil, and shale gas.
